It was perfectly positioned on the edge of the old town. The layout was funky, with a bedroom loft, kitchen, spa and balcony overlooking the church. Our hosts could not have been more welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful.

Excellent restaurant and a few markets within walking distance. Ideal for family, or a couple...or even two couples. Will definitely return.

It is a very nice place. Very kind and pleasant hosts, happy to help with navigation or just recommend a good place to eat. There is a breakfast option, nice food for the whole family. There are a pool and jacoozi, sunbeds and everything. Also there is an eco garden, you can pick anything from there like a tomato or mint. Rooms have a kitchen, freezer, microwave, washing machine. Our room was very clean and cozy. A lot of entertainment for kids like trampoline. Our kid still remembers our holiday and ask to go back there. He also like 2 dogs who live there, they were really funny. It is not very far from a city, but you can get there only by car or taxi. I recommend to rent a car for your holiday, so you can travel around during the day and get back to your room without any problems.

Mamma Maria was exceptional in welcoming us and getting us set up with the keys to a wonderful apartment with balcony and a view of the beautiful pebble beach. Located 22 km from Botanical Park & Gardens of Crete, Mike Omalos Houses offers accommodation with a patio, as well as free bikes and a garden. We had a great two-night stay here. Mike met us and welcomed us warmly. He's super-friendly ... I wish we had more time to chat with him! Omalos is a peaceful, sleepy town, and the houses are a a short drive away, making them even more peaceful. It's also a short drive to get to the trailhead for Samaria Gorge / Mount Gigilos. It's very rural here, making it very charming without a trace of touristiness. There were sheep flocks all around ... happy sounds of bells and bahs made it a magical stop on our vacation :-).
